Welcome to the Fairfield University Writing Center!
The Writing Center provides all University students with the support they need as developing writers. We recognize the importance of writing for every student, regardless of their concentration, and provide the opportunity to benefit from the knowledge and experience of our highly capable staff.
In the Writing Center, students can work directly with a peer tutor at any stage of the writing process. During a one-on-one conference, students can receive assistance on everything from starting an essay to revising a draft. Whatever the concern, we are here to help. While our tutors are not editors, they will help students develop the skills that all effective writers need to succeed at the University and beyond.
Please try not to miss your appointment. You can cancel your appointments at any time using this scheduling system. Please note, if you accrue two No-Shows during a semester, you will be unable to make additional appointments until the end of that semester or until you schedule a meeting with the Director to discuss reactivating your account.
