Welcome to the Fairfield University Writing Center:

The Writing Center provides all University students, regardless of major or concentration, with the writing support they need. Students can work directly with a peer tutor at any stage of the writing process, from how to get started to revising a draft.

As a general reminder, please remember that tutors cannot work with students on exams. Students are responsible for marking sure that any work they bring to the Writing Center is work that they are allowed to receive feedback on prior to submission. Please clarify with your professor first if you have any questions about their expectations regarding independent work or take-home assignments.

While our tutors do not provide "general editing" services, they will help students develop the skills that all effective writers need to succeed at the University and beyond.

Good luck!
